When we organised this romantic elopement in Rome for this German couple, nobody knew anything about the G20 and how they were going to close the centre, about all the restrictions we were going to encounter, about the permits we would need to get through. And it was really surreal to see the centre of Rome always full of cars, buses, tourists, Romans, traffic... in short, to put it simply: ‘life’, completely empty and just for us. Usually the bride and groom ask the photographers if they can remove people with Photoshop, to show the beauty of the monuments without too many people obscuring them. In this case there was no one to remove. I have never seen Capitol Square completely empty... maybe only during the pandemic. Because guys let's remember that the years 2020 and 2021 were really bad for everyone... but not for those who still decided to get married with masks and some restrictions. Here we can see the beautiful photos signed by Fabio Amicucci Photographer... thank you!
